Job Description:
This is a great opportunity for candidates with solid
market research experience who want to expand their knowledge
and skill in this field. This position will allow someone
to grow as much as they are
willing. This person will manage portions of quantitative
and qualitative research projects as needed. In addition,
he or she may be called upon to manage research projects
and provide input for proposals as their experience dictates.
Project work will include tasks such as analysis and writing
reports, questionnaire design, spreadsheet analyses, SPSS
analyses, coordinating various aspects of a project and
taking on whatever else is required to help a project
run smoothly. Preparing presentations, working with clients
and managing vendors are also roles this individual will
take on at times. No two days will be the same!
Rate of
Pay: Competitive; Based on experience

Full-Time; On-site
Frequency
of Travel: Rare; 2 to 3 times a year; maybe
Experience
Required:
Minimum
of five to seven years market research experience. Excellent
analytical skills and experience moderating focus groups
preferred. Strong communication skills, both oral and
written.
Ability to work in a dynamic environment with changing
priorities. Strong organizational skills with particular
attention to detail. Must be a fast learner.
Four-year college degree required. Preference is given
to those with degrees in the social sciences, business
or economics. An advanced degree in the social sciences,
business or economics is preferred, but not required.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
required. Experience with Microsoft Access, SPSS and Harvard
Graphics preferred.

PLANNER/FACILITATOR
An established
Santa Fe, NM consulting firm seeks a planner/facilitator
to conduct market research; develop plans for communities,
tribes and businesses; and facilitate focus groups, public
meetings and strategic planning sessions.
A successful candidate will have good research, quantitative,
computer, writing, and oral communication skills and be
able to multi-task. B.A. in a relevant field and two years
experience are required. A masters degree, knowledge of
the real estate and tourism industries, sales experience,
and the ability to do proformas or process survey data
are all a plus. Salary 30K to 40K, DOE, plus benefits,
including attractive employer-contributed retirement plan
(worth about 10K per year).
Successful candidate may have opportunity to assume ownership
of company upon retirement of current owner in about 5
years.
